Church,
In the midst of all that is happening in the world without a doubt we are called by the Spirit to live Pentecost everyday; doing what we can to set the world ablaze with the fire of justice, love and liberation. I want each of you to know that I see the multiple ways you are making this come alive in our world–whether it is reaching a new person and encouraging them to experience our church online, caring for an elderly parent, encouraging friends on social media to be anti-racist, or joining peaceful and nonviolent efforts in the city street–you are being the church and living the story of Pentecost!
Thank you for joining us this Sunday, and a very special thank you to the many who worked at home to make our Pentecost Community Art a collective display of hope for the fire of justice, healing and peace burning in our world today.

In preparation for our digital worship experience of Holy Communion this Sunday please prepare a small piece of BREAD (cracker, wafer, crouton, torilla) and a cup of JUICE (wine or water). These elements will be consecrated in worship and shared together as a holy sacrament.
