We look forward to meeting you, and welcoming you to our growing & diverse community of faith on the hill!
Here are some answers to questions many visitors have before attending a new church:
How should I dress?
You will find that our church community is comfortable dressing in many different ways. You will find some people dressed in jeans, T-shirts, and flip-flops while others wear their Sunday best, and everything in between. We welcome you to dress however you feel most comfortable. Just come!
Where should I park and where do I enter the building?
When you first arrive at our church, you will want to park in spaces near the front designated as Visitor and Guest parking. If you have mobility concerns, we have special parking in the rear of the church for those with handicap placards.
What is the Sunday Schedule like?
Typical Sunday Schedule:
-
- Sunday School, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 am (Virtual)
- Worship Service, 11:00 a.m. (In-Person)
Are there any classes for my children and younger youth ?
Yes, during Sunday we offer Sunday School for Children before worship and our Pastor share a special children’s sermon with the children during worship. In Sunday School we encourage children engage fully in the music, worship activities, crafts and age appropriate bible studies with season educators. All of our Christian Education leaders undergo special background checks to ensure the saftey of all children and youth in our care.
How do I become a member–Do I have to walk forward duing worship
No, walking forward is not required during worship–but is also welcomed and celebrated in response to Good New preached. If you prefer you can speak with our Pastor or Deacon following worship to inquire about membership at any worship or ministry gathering–we’d love to have you join us for our next New Member’s Class! The New Member’s Class is a casual, no-pressure gathering to learn more about our church, our denomination and meet others who have been visiting and considering membership in our church.
