Min. Lynda Taylor, Adjunct Minister

Lynda Taylor is an itinerant prophetic minister, writer, teacher, encourager, mentor and mother. Lynda was born in Jackson, MS, and later moved to San Diego, CA with her mother and siblings. Lynda completed her undergraduate studies at San Diego State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration.
In 1995, Lynda moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where she worked with the Faith Empowerment Community Consortium (FEC²), a faith based non-profit organization established to promote collaboration across church denominations. While working with FEC², Lynda was responsible for recruiting and training AFDC/ workforce now recipients for job readiness.
Lynda earned her Master of Science degree from Pfeiffer University in the Human Resource field of Organization Development and Leadership. During her stay in NC, Lynda attended Big Calvary Baptist Church in Edgemoor, SC where she served as administrative assistant to the Pastor and was instrumental in developing various ministries in the church. After accepting her call into ministry Lynda served as Director of Christian Education for more than 5 years and developed a new members orientation class.
Lynda has extensive experience serving in ministry to include Prison ministry, Congregational care, community outreach, youth and young adult ministry, women’s ministry, and worshipping arts ministry.
